If you wish to exchange confidential information, please ask to be contacted directly via this e-mail address or by post ("Attn: Data Protection Officer").
We use the personal data that you provide to us throughout the application process (e.g. in cover letters, CVs, references, applicant questionnaires, applicant interviews). We may also process personal data that we have legitimately obtained from publicly accessible sources (e.g. professional social networks), recruitment agencies or contact with references. Data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 88 GDPR, Section 26 para. 1 sentence 1 BDSG for the purpose of carrying out the application procedure ("Entscheidung über die Begründung eines Beschäftigtenverhältnisses"). The data may also include special categories of personal data (such as health data, religious affiliation, degree of disability), insofar as you have voluntarily provided us with this information. In this respect, data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 88 GDPR, Section 26 (3) BDSG. However, we would like to evaluate all applicants only according to their qualifications and therefore ask you to refrain from providing such information in your application if possible.
We will delete your data once the application process has been completed. An application procedure is completed when the period has expired in which legal action for violation of the AGG (General Equal Treatment Act) can still be expected (generally six months after the rejection has been sent, if no legal action or assertion in accordance with Section 15 (4) AGG has been received by then). If your application is successful, your data will be transferred to the personnel file if necessary and permissible. We may use external service providers who work exclusively on our behalf and are not permitted to process data for their own purposes, and in this context we transfer personal data to these service providers, e.g. IT service providers, assessment centers, recruitment agencies and personnel consultants, external consultants in the event of a suitability assessment procedure and, if necessary, lawyers in the event of a dispute. In particular, we use the personnel and application platform of Personio SE & Co. KG, Seidlstr. 3, 80335 Munich, Germany.
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling in accordance with Art. 22 GDPR. In addition to the right to revoke your consent given to us, you have the right to information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR if the respective legal requirements are met, the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, the right to object under Art. 21 GDPR and the right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authorities in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.
