- Orchestrate and synchronize end-to-end IoT product realization efforts, ensuring all aspects align with product vision, technical specifications, quality benchmarks, financial constraints, and timelines from concept to mass production and rollout
- Oversee the integrated project plan, including hardware design, firmware development, backend integration, and continuous product improvement
- Keep up with the timeline and budget, providing regular, transparent status updates on project advancement and roadblocks to leadership and stakeholders
- Proactively identify, evaluate, mitigate, and resolve technical and/or supply chain risks throughout the product development process
- Collaborate with our Engineering teams (Hardware, IoT, Software, Data), our Supply Chain, and our Operations teams to strategize and implement prototyping phases, pilot, and initial production runs
- Ensure compliance with IoT regulations and internal quality standards
- Drive continuous product quality improvement and customer satisfaction
- Define and execute market entry strategies and product launch initiatives for new hardware and feature upgrades of our bikes

Your mission
Our Project Realization Management team at the nextbike headquarters in Leipzig is looking for support. If you want to spearhead our comprehensive IoT product development lifecycle and help us guide the "brains" of our rental bikes (and other components) from initial concept through to mass production, apply for this role. Your profile
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
- English language skills (minimum C1), additional German skills are appreciated
- Proven experience of 3+ years in technical project management, IoT/electronic products, or product management roles
- Strong understanding of hardware development processes, embedded firmware, and cloud solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and strong communication skills
- Experience working with international suppliers and OEMs is a plus
- Willingness to work on-site on a regular basis (at least 2 days per week) at our beautiful headquarters in Leipzig-Plagwitz (or alternatively at our Berlin office)
