Electronics Engineer (f/d/m) Hardware Development

Your mission

We are a rapidly growing international company in the field of sustainable mobility solutions. With more than 300 locations in over 20 countries, we are shaping the future of urban mobility and developing bike sharing systems at our Leipzig headquarters that make cities more liveable and resilient.
To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for support to help design and further develop our products and systems. The following tasks await you:


  • Design, develop, and optimize our electronic and mechatronic components such as batteries, motor controllers, wiring harnesses, and IoT hardware
  • Create CAD data, circuit diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications
  • Execute and coordinate tests (EVT–PVT) – from functional and stress testing to environmental testing
  • Support prototype builds, validate results, and contribute to the transition into series production
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams from mechanics, electronics, and software development to solve technical challenges
  • Support the selection and management of suppliers and external partners

Your profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field
  • English language skills (minimum C1), additional German skills are appreciated
  • Several years of experience in developing electronic assemblies (batteries, motor control, wiring harness, IoT)
  • Strong knowledge in CAD, ECAD, as well as test and measurement techniques
  • Experience with relevant standards (e.g. UN38.3, CE, EMC)
  • Familiarity with development and manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and supplier management
  • Solution-oriented, proactive, and supportive mindset.
  • Hands-on mentality, resilience, and sense of ownership
  • Willingness to work on-site at least 3x a week at our headquarters in Leipzig-Plagwitz
