Marketing & Communications Trainee (South West Europe)

Spain/Barcelona, Hybrid
Full-time
Trainee

Your mission

Are you ready to kick-start your career in the heart of the sustainable mobility revolution? We are looking for a proactive Marketing & Communications Trainee (f/m/d) to join our South West Europe (SWE) team in Barcelona.

In this role, you will receive structured guidance and mentoring from the Marketing & Communications Manager, ensuring the role contributes to the development of professional marketing skills aligned with your academic background. You will support the day-to-day coordination of our social media presence, assist with regional marketing campaigns, and contribute to the smooth execution of our marketing operations. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who is eager to develop their marketing career while helping shape our brand's story, following every piece of communication from its initial draft to the final analysis of its impact.

  • Social Media Execution: Assist in drafting and scheduling content (primarily LinkedIn), managing the calendar to ensure consistent publishing.

  • Campaign Coordination: Gather assets (logos, images, local data) and help adapt/translate marketing materials for the SWE region.

  • Marketing Operations: Assist in maintaining project documentation and tracking campaign metrics in Confluence (engagement, KPIs) for reporting.

  • Logistics & Events: Provide support for regional workshops, from initial venue outreach to gathering quotes from partners.

  • Market Monitoring: Assist in monitoring competitor activities and key market trends in the SWE region.

  • Asset Management: Organize our marketing library to ensure the team always has access to the correct, approved visuals.

Your profile

  • Education: To be eligible for this role, you must have completed your university degree or professional studies within the last three years at the time of signing the contract, in a field related to marketing, communications, business, or a similar discipline.

  • Languages: Working proficiency in English and Spanish is essential. Fluency in a third regional language (e.g., French, Portuguese, or Dutch) is a significant advantage.

  • Organizational Skills: You have an acute attention to detail, especially when proofreading content or managing data.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft tools or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) and a readiness to master specialized marketing software

  • Proactivity: You are an enthusiastic self-starter who can take ownership of recurring tasks and manage your time effectively.

Benefits

We believe in fostering talent from the ground up and providing a collaborative environment where your ideas contribute directly to our growth.

  • Professional Training Contract: This role is offered under a “Contrato formativo para la obtención de la práctica profesional” for an initial duration of one year, designed to provide hands-on professional experience aligned with the candidate’s academic training.

  • Opportunity for Permanent Employment: We view this as a long-term investment in your talent. Upon successful completion of the initial year, there is a clear option to transition into a permanent position within our growing team.

  • Competitive Local Benefits: We offer 25 days of vacation, coworking access, and "Retribución flexible" options (incl. meal vouchers).

  • Mentorship: Strategic mentorship that gives you a front-row seat to how we operate across Europe and helps you grow into a marketing professional.

  • Hands-on Training: Deep dives into our internal processes, brand guidelines, and the latest MarTech stack (social media scheduling, analytics, and CMS).
